Teacher and Parent Reflections

“The most significant part was having the students give their personal story and answer questions. Our kids saw them as real people with different backgrounds and plans for the future” – Teacher, Actis Middle School

“The most significant thing was that the students were able to connect faces with college students. The question/answer portion was GREAT!” – Teacher, Blackstock Middle School

“As a parent, I like this program.  It is one way of helping me to motivate my daughter.  This is really a good program to encourage young children as early as third grade. I think they will work hard to reach their goals. You have the best staff.” – Parent, Rio Rosales Elementary School

“CSU Channel Islands honestly provides the best campus tour and information that I have experienced over the last three years of AVID.” – Teacher, Haydock Intermediate School
