Update your Emergency Contacts

Emergency Contact information is needed to facilitate care and/or notification to appropriate parties in the event of an emergency. Please review your emergency contact information via your myCI account and update this information as appropriate.

NOTE:  New CI students will be granted access to update their Emergency Contact Information during their participation with Island View Orientation and/or Transfer Advising sessions scheduled to occur on designated dates throughout the summer.

Directions to update Emergency Contact Information:

Navigate to Emergency Contacts in CI Records:

  1. Go to http://myci.csuci.edu and enter your Dolphin name and password.
  2. Under 'My Account', select 'CI Records'.
  3. From the menu bar on the left, click onto 'Self Service'.
  4. Select 'Campus Personal Information'.
  5. Select 'Emergency Contacts'.

Under Emergency Contact Details:

Enter the contact name and relationship for your designated emergency contact person.

Under contact address, click onto edit address, enter in your emergency contact’s address and select OK.

Under contact phone add the phone number of your emergency contact. 

Remember to SAVE the entry of your emergency contact.

NOTE:  Please remember to designate one of your emergency contacts as a ‘Primary Contact’.
