Women's Soccer Information

As of June 4, 2010, we have decided that Women’s Soccer will be our first athletic team that we will field. The following will give you the information that we have at this time as it relates to the formation of our Women’s Soccer Team:

• As of June 4th, 2010, we will begin the search for our Women’s Soccer Coach. We are tentatively planning for on campus interviews for coaching candidates in later October, early November, 2010. It is our goal to have a Head Women’s Soccer Coach in place by January 2011. Please check the CSU Channel Islands Human Resources website: http://www.csuci.edu/hr/ for the a job announcement by July 1, 2010.
• Open tryouts for all individuals that are interested in playing Women’s Soccer at CI, will take place spring and fall, 2011, once the head coach is on staff.
• We tentatively plan on having a full schedule of home and away soccer competition fall, 2012, with a limited amount of scrimmages/competition fall, 2011.
• Recruiting Questionnaire: If your interested in becoming a women’s soccer player and being one of the first dolphins on the field then this is the first step to take!
